SSL / HTTPS

Osano libraries will not record consents or notify administrators of new scripts unless your site is hosted on HTTPS/SSL.

This allows you to develop locally and in non-SSL staging environments, but your production website must be hosted on SSL in order to record consents and notify administrators of scripts that have been found. The reason for this is simple, HTTP is insecure and Osano will not transmit data to our servers over an insecure connection.
