Block list

The block list feature allows Osano Consent Management to automatically block specific scripts and cookies in regions where their usage has been declared illegal by legislation.

When the block list switch is turned on [enabled], scripts/cookies from vendors on the list will be blocked for users accessing your site from particular locations. These rules will vary based on legislation. All other rules and classifications will execute as expected and configured in these locations. If users are accessing from locations outside of those listed in the block list, they will receive the standard GDPR functionality.

When the block list switch is turned off [disabled] scripts/cookies from vendors on the list will continue to be blocked/unblocked based on your tag categorization and how individual web visitors consent. Osano will respect existing rules and classification settings.
