Osano is served via a globally distributed CDN with multiple edge locations. If a user’s browser cannot reach the Osano CDN and the osano.js script fails to load, Osano simply won’t run for that session. In this case, Osano will not execute or modify any scripts on the page, and consent decisions will not be made or enforced. From a user’s perspective, the site continues to function normally.
No. If the browser cannot load the Osano script, it will make a single attempt and then continue loading the rest of the page as usual. There are no retries that block the page, and there are no visible errors caused by the missing script. Other site assets will continue to load and display as expected.
Yes. Osano’s hosting infrastructure uses multiple edge locations across regions to deliver the script. If one edge server is unable to serve the requested file, another nearby edge server will respond instead. This built-in redundancy ensures a high likelihood of successful script delivery, even in the rare event of an edge outage.
