The charts on the Cookie Consent Reporting page provide a comprehensive overview of your visitors' consent choices in aggregate, highlighting key metrics and trends amongst your user base. Each report can be exported as a CSV by selecting the three dots in the top right corner of the report.
Spotlight metrics are core, all-time metrics for tracking the overall health of your Cookie Consent setup that also serve to spotlight urgent issues to resolve or review:
Needs Publishing: This value shows the total number of configurations set up in Osano that have unpublished changes.
Unclassified Discoveries: Provides a total count of all currently unclassified cookies, scripts, and iframes across all configurations.
Unique Consents over 30 days: This value shows the total count of all consents across all cookie consent configurations in the account for the last 30 days.
Configuration: This drop-down allows you to select the configuration(s) you'd like to view data for.
Jurisdiction: This drop-down allows you to select multiple jurisdictions, providing insights into how consent is managed across multiple regions.
Start/End Date: This allows you to select the timeframe you'd like to view data for. The date range selected affects the view: 3+ months shows a monthly view, 4–12 weeks shows a weekly view, and 4 weeks or less shows a daily view.
Consents by Jurisdiction: This chart breaks down consents by different jurisdictions, providing insights into how consent is managed across various regions.
Consents Over Time: This chart compares the volume of visitor traffic with the amount of user consents across all jurisdictions for a specific time period.
Consents by Platform: This chart shows the distribution of consents across different platforms (e.g., website, mobile devices), for a specified time period. Please note that in order for results to be recorded for iOS/Android/React, you must be utilizing the Osano Mobile SDKs. Otherwise, mobile consents will be logged on the web platform again.
Do Not Sell (Opt-In vs Opt-Out): This chart compares the number or percentage of users who have opted in or opted out of data sales, over a specified time period. An opt-in to 'Do Not Sell' indicates that the user has enabled the DNS toggle in the Cookie Drawer (or used a GPC-enabled browser), and that data cannot be sold for the user.
Categories: This chart displays the distribution of consent values across different categories of data classification (e.g., Analytics, Marketing, Personalization) for a specified time period.
Categorical Opt-Out Rate can be calculated by taking the number of opt-outs for a specific category (e.g., Marketing) and dividing by the Essential category count. This metric provides a more accurate view of opt-outs at the category level and is recommended for calculating more specific opt-out statistics.
Note: The Essential category won't appear on the Reporting dashboard itself, but it is included when exporting either the Opt-In vs. Opt-Out report or the Categories report as a CSV.
Classification by Config: This chart displays the current counts of items across specific configurations for unclassified discoveries and classification categories, by configuration.
