What's new for Osano in June 2024

Note: Any Consent Manager Platform (CMP) changes will be inherited by consent manager configurations after they are republished. Please be sure to test all changes.

Enhancements

    • Consent Management - iOS SDK v3.3.0

      • Added support for Google Consent Mode signals per Google's mobile requirements

      • Added support for an option second policy link the banner and drawer to match web presentation

      • Added support for banner translations that include customized consent categories

    • Subject Rights

      • The request details page UX has been updated to display information across a Status, Request Information, and Activity Log tabs instead of on a single page.

    • Data Mapping

      • Users can now track purposes of processing on data stores.

  • June 4 at 10:00 AM CT

    • Consent Management

      • Users in Texas and Oregon will now see consent banner format 3 by default to comply with data privacy laws in those jurisdictions. If you wish to enable banner format 1 for this state, please enable US State Level Legislation Opt-Out Banner Format mode. Read more about consent banner formats.

Bugs

    • Consent Management - iOS SDK v3.3.0

      • Resolved an issue with banner save and manage preferences buttons when first layer categories are enabled.

      • Resolved an issue with the selection of the policy link in drawer.

      • Resolved crash occurring when opening storage preferences via the banner on iPad

      • Improved locale fetching timing and app initialization processes to avoid content rendering issues.
