Overview

TrustHub's GDPR Representatives feature allows you to easily display your GDPR representative information on your TrustHub pages. Osano provides GDPR representative services to all customers, and this feature makes it simple to share this information with your users in a clear, accessible format.

What Are GDPR Representatives?

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), companies that process EU personal data but are not established in the EU must designate a representative in the EU. Similarly, companies processing UK personal data but not established in the UK must designate a UK representative.

  • EU Representative: A contact point for EU data protection authorities and individuals

  • UK Representative: A contact point for UK data protection authorities and individuals

  • Compliance Support: Help ensure your organization meets GDPR requirements

Adding GDPR Representative Information to TrustHub

Step 1: Create a New TrustHub Page

  1. Log in to your Osano account

  2. Navigate to the Pages tab of the TrustHub section

  3. Click the Purple + icon to create a new page, or open an existing page - such as Privacy Policy

Step 2: Insert GDPR Representative Information

  1. In the page editor, click the GDPR Representatives button

  2. TrustHub will automatically insert a table with your GDPR representative information from Osano

  3. The table will include both EU and UK representative options

Step 3: Customize the Content

  1. Add explanatory text above the table if desired

  2. Include any additional context about GDPR representation

  3. Format the content as needed using the editor tools

Step 4: Configure Page Settings (if necessary)

  1. Enter a page title (e.g., "GDPR Representatives")

  2. Choose a URL path (e.g., "/gdpr-representatives")

Step 5: Publish Your Page

  1. Review the representative information

  2. Click "Publish" to make the page live

  3. Test the page to ensure it displays correctly

The automatically generated table includes the address and contact details for your EU and UK Representatives
