Overview

TrustHub provides a simple and effective way to host and manage your privacy policies. Instead of maintaining privacy policies as static files on your website, TrustHub allows you to manage your privacy policy content directly within the Osano platform, making it easier to update and maintain.

Moving your existing text-based privacy policy into TrustHub's content management system allows you to:

  • Edit and update your privacy policy through TrustHub's interface

  • Maintain version control and track changes

  • Ensure consistency across all your privacy documentation

  • Integrate with other TrustHub features like cookie disclosures and DSAR forms

Moving Your Privacy Policy to TrustHub

Step 1: Prepare Your Content

  1. Review your existing privacy policy text

  2. Ensure the content is up-to-date and compliant

  3. Note any sections that may need updates

Step 2: Create a New TrustHub

  1. Log in to your Osano account

  2. Navigate to TrustHub

  3. Click the Purple + icon to create a new TrustHub

  4. Enter a subdomain (e.g., "yourcompanyname")

  5. Enter a site title (e.g., "TrustHub")

  6. Enter a parent URL (e.g., "https://www.yourcompany.com")

  7. Save your TrustHub

Step 3: Add Your Privacy Policy to Your TrustHub

  1. Scroll to the Table of Contents section

  2. Click "Add Pages" and click "Yes" to confirm page creation

  3. Enter a page title (e.g., "Privacy Policy")

  4. Choose a URL path (e.g., "/privacy-policy")

  5. Paste your privacy policy text into the content editor

  6. Format the text as needed using the editor tools

  7. Save the draft of your Privacy Policyimage.png

Step 4: Publish Your Privacy Policy

  1. Review the content for accuracy

  2. Click "Publish Page" and add a comment if desired to publish the saved draft of your Privacy Policy

  3. Wait 5-10 minutes for your publish to take effect

  4. Click "View Page" to validate the styling and content of your published privacy policy in TrustHub
