What's new for Osano in November 2025

Note: Any Consent Manager Platform (CMP) changes will be inherited by consent manager configurations after they are republished. Please be sure to test all changes.

Enhancements

• November 25, 2025 at 12:00 PM CST

  • Cookie Consent

    • Users in Indiana, Kentucky, and Rhode Island will now see consent banner format 3 by default to comply with data privacy laws. If you wish to enable banner format 1 for this state, please enable CCPA/CPRA opt-out mode. Read more about consent banner formats.

  • Subject Rights

    • You can now add comments to your Subject Rights Requests. Full commenting is available on all requests. Any comments made in the previous notes system will also be visible in the new interface. For more information, check out Commenting on Subject Rights Requests.

  • Cookie Consent

    • GPC enabled cookie consent configurations will now show 'opt-out honored' indicators on banners and drawers when a site visitor's browser sends a GPC signal in US regions in order to comply with California's 1/1/2026 CPRA regulations.

    • An optional Opt-Out widget is also available to help comply with requirements about notification when the CMP is not visible on the page.
