Viewing the Activity Log

Updated 4 months ago

The Activity Log tab within a Cookie Consent configuration offers a high-level audit trail of user actions on that configuration, including when actions happened and by whom. An event is automatically generated for each action that is saved by a user from within the web application (my.osano.com), or from successful requests made via the Customer REST API. Events in the Activity Log are immutable and unable to be manually edited or removed.

Note: Events will only appear from actions taken on or after September 29, 2025.

Example of Unpublished events

The events within the Activity Log are separated into two sections:

  • Unpublished - These are changes which have been saved but not yet Published.

  • Published - These are changes which have already been Published.

At the point a user publishes a configuration, all saved changes made since the last publish will be included in the rolled up view of that publish event. Each publish will be equal to a Version, which can be found on the Versions tab of a configuration.
