What's new for Osano in May 2025

Note: Any Consent Manager Platform (CMP) changes will be inherited by consent manager configurations after they are republished. Please be sure to test all changes.

Enhancements

  • May 29 1:00 PM CDT

    • Subject Rights

      • The Request Details page has seen a significant redesign to improve the request processing UX. Most significantly:

      • All verification steps in the workflow have been consolidated to display within a single 'Verification' step.

      • The 'Action Items' step has been converted to a tabular design with real-time updates on the status of individual action items.

      • The secure messaging portal has been moved to its own tab.

    • Cookie Consent

      • Users in the web application may now add 'Terms and Conditions' as a second link to cookie banners.

  • May 20 1:00 PM CDT

    • Subject Rights

      • Users can now enable a privacy-friendly CAPTCHA on their subject rights forms to identify and prevent spam request submissions from bots.

      • The Action Items list page has been updated to allow for multi-filtering of requests by a number of additional conditions and operators.

      • Users can now view previously completed stages in request processing on the Request Details page.

  • May 8 2:50 PM CDT

    • Cookie Consent

      • Default button text on Banner Template 3 has been updated to the following:

      • Deny has been updated to 'Deny Non-Essential'.

      • These changes will not overwrite any custom values assigned by the customer.

    • Cookie Consent

      • Users in the web application may now filter their Cookie, Script, and Iframe discoveries by Vendor, if a value is present.

  • May 5 1:00 PM CDT

    • Unified Consent (Mobile)

      • Our newest iOS SDK brings Unified Consent to iOS. You can now include a Unified Consent experience similar to the Web experience in your iOS apps. The iOS SDK joins the Android SDK to round out Unified Consent on mobile. More information is available in our Developer Docs.

Bug Fixes

  • May 28 8:00 PM CDT

    • Vendor Management

      • Fixed an issue where the vendor privacy score was rendering incorrectly for some vendors.
