Slack notifications are available to all Osano customers on a paid plan.
Notifications are set per person. Turning them on affects only your own account, and every teammate controls their own setting.
Log in to Osano and click the gear (settings) icon in the top right.
Go to Account → Notifications.
Find the Notification Delivery section at the top of the page. It lists your delivery options, including Email and Slack.
Turn on Slack using whichever option you see:
A toggle switch. Your workspace has already connected the Osano app to Slack. Switch the toggle on and you are done.
An "Add to Slack" button. The Osano app is not connected to your Slack workspace yet. Click the button and complete the short Slack authorization flow. When it finishes, the toggle unlocks and you can switch it on.
Osano sends you a welcome message in Slack confirming the connection.
Your daily digest starts arriving the following morning. Real-time notifications begin right away.
Once Slack is on, you get two kinds of messages:
A daily digest summarizing everything on your plate across Osano, with overdue items first and a link on every line that takes you straight to the right view in the platform.
Real-time notifications when something changes that needs your attention, such as a newly assigned assessment or a deadline that has passed.
If you have nothing open, Osano sends nothing. You will not get an empty digest.
For the full list of events that generate a message, see Osano for Slack: What Triggers a Notification.
Your Osano notification preferences control Slack too. There is no separate set of Slack preferences to manage. If you have opted out of a certain notification by email, you are opted out in Slack as well.
To turn Slack off, return to Account → Notifications and switch the Slack toggle off.
Messages contain counts, item labels, urgency status, and links back into the platform.
I do not see a Notification Delivery section.
Slack notifications are not available on the free plan. If you are on a paid plan and still do not see the section, contact Osano support.
I turned it on but nothing has arrived.
The daily digest starts the morning after you connect. If you have no open items, no digest is sent by design. If you expected a real-time notification and did not get one, check that the relevant notification type is enabled under Account → Notifications.
The Add to Slack button fails.
Some Slack workspaces require an administrator to approve new apps. Ask your Slack admin to approve the Osano app, then try again.
