October 2025 Release Notes

What's new for Osano in October 2025

Note: Any Consent Manager Platform (CMP) changes will be inherited by consent manager configurations after they are republished. Please be sure to test all changes.

Enhancements

• October 15, 2025 at 4:15 PM CDT

  • Cookie Consent

    • Consent Manager text strings have been updated for Polish (pl), German (de), and Austrian (de-at) based on translator feedback. See all supported languages.

• October 9, 2025 at 4:00 PM CDT

  • Cookie Consent

    • Bulk disclosure of discoveries and classifications is now available in the Cookies, Scripts, and Iframes sections of configurations in the web application.

  • Cookie Consent

    • Scripts and Iframes can now be disclosed to the end user CMP. Additional functionality added to the web application includes:

    • Ability to provide a 'title' for all disclosures instead of the rule value

    • Ability to provide all relevant disclosure info for Scripts and Iframes

    • Added a new 'type' field in the CMP drawer that automatically denotes the type of disclosure (cookie, iframe, script)

  • Subject Rights

    • You can now see the date on which a request was verified in the request details. You can also add Verified Date as a column to the requests list and filter based on the date.

    • The Customer REST API has been updated to allow for the addition of orgIds in the following endpoints:

      • GET: List Cookie Consent Configurations

      • POST: Create Cookie Consent Configuration

      • GET: Return Detailed Cookie Consent Configuration

      • PATCH: Update Cookie Consent Configuration

  • Cookie Consent

    • Resolved an issue where an error was received when a <form> was added to the DOM, and that <form> had a child input element with a name or id called tagName, where osano.js was returning the input element named tagName and not the value of "FORM".

  • Cookie Consent

    • An issue where the 'First Date Seen' Field was always returning 'Unknown' has been resolved in the Discovered section of Classifications in the web application. Dates should be visible for all Discoveries shown.

  • Cookie Consent

    • Issues with Managed cookies and scripts appearing in the Discovered section of Classifications has been resolved. In order to receive this update, please publish any configurations where this issue has presented.

  • Cookie Consent

    • The 'Last Updated Date' shown in the Cookie Consent Configuration section of the web application will now update when Rules are saved or updated.

  • Cookie Consent

    • A missing translation for 'View Disclosures' in the CMP preference drawer is now available to be customized in the Text Customizations section of the Cookie Consent Configuration in the web application.
