What's new for Osano in January 2026

Note: Any Consent Manager Platform (CMP) changes will be inherited by consent manager configurations after they are republished. Please be sure to test all changes. 

Enhancements

    • Cookie Consent (CMP script and web application)

      • New options have been added within the Styles page to edit the styles for the GPC Opt-Out Widget and Indicator. You can find these settings under the ‘Widgets’ heading.

      • New options have been added within the Styles page to edit the styles for the Reject All button. If no settings are given for this button, it will fall back to the Default Button styles on the configuration.

      • Consumer SSO page

      • Integrations page

      • Reporting - Report settings

      • Added support for searching discoveries and rules that include backslash/regex.

      • The Styles page of configuration editing has been updated to separate styling for default banner items, buttons, and drawer elements.

      • New classes have been added within the Styles page to edit, such as button hover-over colors, and the 'X' button (banner and drawer options).

      • Customers using custom CSS overrides on their websites should verify any style changes prior to publishing their configurations.

      • The Amazon Consent Signal is now supported natively within Osano CMP. This feature can be enabled via the Settings tab of a given configuration.

      • Updated IAB TCF banner language to include service-specific language (eg, ‘for this website’) per IAB requirements.

Bugs

      • Resolved an issue where the Do Not Sell modal would not capture keyboard focus after activation.

      • Resolved an issue where users were unable to select the "Ignore All Selected" or "Delete Selected Rules" buttons when the search input was active.

      • Resolved an issue where creating a disclosed rule from a discovery was preventing that rule from being properly associated with any matching discoveries, resulting in those discoveries erroneously staying in Discovered status when they should disappear.

      • Resolved an issue where rule creation was removing all rule associations for discoveries that matched previously created rules, causing discoveries with matching rules to reappear.

      • Resolved an issue in the web application where pagination and filters were not applied to the Consent Manager Listing page until the page was refreshed.

      • Updated logic that handles the reporting of discoveries that are pending classification or experience timing issues clientside to reduce the amount of “re-discovered” scripts reported into the web application.
