What's new for Osano in December 2023

Note: Any Consent Manager Platform (CMP) changes will be inherited by consent manager configurations after they are republished. Please be sure to test all changes. 

Enhancements

  • Subject Rights: Request workloads are automatically reduced on new forms via a new duplicate rejection feature. In addition, users can now enable geo-fencing to greatly reduce request workloads by automatically rejecting requests submitted from jurisdictions without privacy laws.

  • Consent Management: CMP has updated to v1.1 of the Global Privacy Platform spec. This release only affects customers who have enabled IAB GPP support. Please review these changes with any downstream IAB vendors, before enabling to ensure consistency of implementation. For more information about these changes, please see the IAB's documentation here.
