Enhancements

  • November 19, 2021, at 2:11 CT
    • Adjusted logical checks before the DOM rendering process for the Osano CMP to help improve mobile page speed scores.
      • What changed: The CMP runtime indicators for the visual interface were adjusted to better support our customers' needs for performance. The Osano CMP uses a combination of browser state, loading state, and render state to provide accurate indicators for when/why/if the visual interface for the CMP platform should be rendered. Some of these indicators were found to be inconsistent, and checks have been added to provide consistency. This change may result in an improvement in Mobile Google Lighthouse scores (case by case basis).
  • November 12, 2021, at 1:54 CT
    • Updated consent dialog mapping for Luxembourg from region/popup (5) to region/popup (2) for greater compliance. See Consent Dialog Regions for more details.
    • Updated Consent Manager to better support nonce values when implementing the Osano Consent Manager alongside a CSP.
    • Updated the Consent Manager to allow for cookie deletion, regardless of classification status, with respect to changes in user consent.
  • November 8, 2021, at 12:38 PM CT
    • EU Banner Updates: The following items will be added to the default banner experience in select EU locales in addition to current functionality:
      • A "Storage Preferences" link on the 1st layer of the banner.
      • A "Reject All" button.
      • An 'X' button to close the dialog with only essential cookies.

These changes will take effect automatically after republishing your consent manager configuration on or after the release date. See Consent Dialog Regions for more details on this change.

Caution: For customers using custom CSS to override the default banner experiences, we recommend testing this update on a staging site before publishing it to your production site to ensure no visual impact on your banner display.
