December 2022 Release Notes

Note: Any Consent Manager Platform (CMP) changes will be inherited by consent manager configurations after they are republished. Please be sure to test all changes.

    • Consent Manager: Starting today, CMP has been updated to support linked behaviors between the Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information toggle and the Marketing toggle. For visitors who opt-out of the sale or share of their data, they will automatically be opted out of any cookies classified as Marketing (Advertising). You must publish any active configurations in order to enable this change on your sites.

    • Consent Manager: The CMP's Do Not Sell default text copy has been updated to comply with CPRA requirements coming into effect for 2023. Toggle functionality will remain the same with this update. Customers on our Enterprise tier are able to adjust this language and any translations within the Customization section of our web application. Learn more about the Do Not Sell toggle.

    • Consent Manager: For customers who utilize IAB TCF 2.0 setting for CMP, vendor related data will now be returned in the TCF CMP API payload without needing to decode the tcString.

    • Consent Manager: Osano CMP has been updated to include support for State Level geolocation. The Osano Consent Javascript API has also been updated with an additional property of 'jurisdiction' that returns the lowercase country and subdivision codes according to ISO 3166-1 and 3166-2 standards.     • Web Application/Consent Management: General updates to user interface language and placeholder content to provide clearer user guidance when there are fields or pages that require additional inputs.

    • Consent Manager: Resolved an issue where the CMP drawer could have errors for users viewing in RTL languages (Arabic, Farsi).
