What is duplicate rejection?
Duplicate rejection is a feature that is enabled by default on new request forms that reduces request workloads.
Duplicate rejection works by checking if incoming requests are duplicates of submitted requests already in progress. An incoming request is considered a duplicate if it matches an open request on all of the following:
- Requester Email
- Request Type
Requesters submitting duplicates of requests in progress will immediately receive a rejection email informing them their request has been rejected because it is a duplicate of a previously submitted open request:
To disable duplicate rejection for a form:
- Login to Osano
- Click on 'Forms' within the Subject Rights section of the left-hand navigation panel:
- Click on the form you'd like to disable de-duplication for in your forms list.
- Scroll down to the Duplicate Rejection toggle in the Details tab, and click to turn this toggle off:
