How do I import data stores from CSV?
First, navigate to the data stores page located under Data Mapping in the left-hand navigation panel:
Then click the 'plus' icon at the bottom right of the list of data stores to open the data store creation modal.
Next select the third option for 'Data Mapping CSV Import' and then upload a CSV file that matches the format of the table displayed in the image below. The first row of the file will be skipped on import.
Note: You must create a form with all of the below headers exactly as they are written. Imports with additional rows and/or incorrect naming conventions will fail to be uploaded.
CSV Import Column Headers
Name - The name of the data store to be created.
Note: This is the only field required to create a new data store from a CSV import. This name must be different from any previously created data stores, or this row will be skipped during the import.
Vendor - The assigned vendor of the data store to be created.
Note: Vendors entered here must match an existing vendor in the Osano database or this value will be skipped during the import.
Description - The internal description of the data store to be created.
Country - The assigned country of the data store to be created.
Note: Countries entered here must match an existing country in the Osano database or this value will be skipped during the import.
Labels - The assigned labels of the data store to be created.
Organizations - The assigned organizations of the data store to be created.
Note: Organizations entered here must match an existing organization in the Osano database or this value will be skipped during import.
Owner - The assigned owner of the data store to be created.
Note: Owner emails entered here must match the email on an existing user in the Osano database or this value will be skipped during import.
Receivers - The data stores receiving data from the data store to be created.
Note: Data Stores entered here must match an existing data store in the Osano database or this value will be skipped during import.
