What's new for Osano in April 2024

Note: Any Consent Manager Platform (CMP) changes will be inherited by consent manager configurations after they are republished. Please be sure to test all changes.

    • Subject Rights
      • A number of quality of life updates have been released including:
        • Users can now download and view files manually uploaded to a request or action item.
        • Users can search and filter the fields and classifications table on data stores.
        • Content in the Secure Messaging Portal can now be accessed via Osano's REST API.

    • Assessments
      • You can now add helper text to your custom assessment templates to provide guidance and examples to respondents. More information can be found on the Assessment Template Reference.

    • Data Mapping
      • Data Mapping managers can now utilize CDPs (Segment and Rudderstack) for source discovery. 
    • Subject Rights
      • Users can now set subject rights notifications to a weekly cadence.
    • New Data Discovery Integration

    • Consent Management
      • Osano CMP has been updated to address changes in the newest version of the Shopify Customer Privacy API. In order for these changes to apply to the CMP, you will need to publish your configuration. More information can be found in Installing Osano in Shopify.

    • Consent Management
      • Osano CMP now supports adding a second link to the consent banner and drawer. The link can be added via the Settings page in your configuration.
