What's new for Osano in July 2024

Note: Any Consent Manager Platform (CMP) changes will be inherited by consent manager configurations after they are republished. Please be sure to test all changes. 

Enhancements

    • Subject Rights
      • Subject Rights Managers can now make use of email completion templates for each request type to allow for more specific pre-set content based on these request types.

    • Cookie Consent
      • The Osano CMP IAB TCF 2.2 implementation has been updated to include user traffic from Switzerland as part of the IAB TCF 2.2 experience. This change is in relation to advertising requirements made by Google's EU User Consent Policy.

      • The Osano CMP IAB TCF 2.2 implementation has been updated based on feedback from the IAB:
          • The IAB TCF banners have been updated to include information about specific data processing purposes and special features.

      • The Osano CMP IAB TCF 2.2 implementation has been updated based on feedback from the IAB:
        • The Third Parties (Vendors) view has been updated to include separate toggles for Consent and Legitimate Interest choices.
        • The Legitimate Interests view has been updated to remove checkboxes from purposes 1, 3, 4, 5, and 6 as these purposes are no longer allowed to be selected by vendors for legitimate interest basis.
  • July 3 3:00 PM CT
    • Assessments
      • You can now assign individual assessment questions to other users so that you can get more accurate answers from your internal experts. 
        • Assignees see only their assigned questions to make sure they know where to focus, while assessment managers can monitor the progress of each assignment.
        • More information is available in Assessment Assignments.
      • You can now add answers during the final review of an assessment to ensure the accuracy of the assessment.
      • Assessments can now be reopened after they have been closed.

Bugs

      • Resolved an issue from a prior release that caused some sites using jQuery to appear /undefined thus causing issues serving some jQuery functionality.
