You can allow your users of your Unified Consent preference hub to provide verification of their identity with either email or SMS. To enable SMS validation on a consent configuration, navigate to the Settings tab. There you will find the toggle to “Enable SMS Validation.” If this option is enabled, users will be able to select either email or phone to sign up.
Once a user has signed up and provided their phone number, they will receive a verification code. When they are verified, their phone number will be their identifier, and they will be able to retrieve their consent with it in the future.
