What's new for Osano in April 2025

Note: Any Consent Manager Platform (CMP) changes will be inherited by consent manager configurations after they are republished. Please be sure to test all changes. 

Enhancements

    • Subject Rights
      • Users can now use hashing and casing functions  to transform and/or normalize content within the body of a webhook.
      • Two new webhook events have been added – 'Pending ID Verification' and 'Request In Progress' – to act as triggers for webhook events when requests enter these statuses outside the traditional request processing workflow e.g. reqeust creation via API, etc.

    • Cookie Consent
      • Osano’s AI Assistance can now help you classify cookies. The new AI Assistance modal in Cookie Consent provides AI-powered research along with a suggested classification, vendor, and expiry as well as an AI confidence score (low, medium, or high) for cookies. You can save or modify the suggestion in the modal. More information can be found here.
    • Unified Consent
      • You can now connect a SAML SSO to your Unified Consent consumer portal to allow your end users who are already authenticated to login and retrieve their choices more easily. More information can be found here.

Bug Fixes

      • Resolved an issue with the Google Consent dataLayer default being set twice in one session when the dataLayer was hardcoded into the page.

      • Fixed the following acccessibility related issues:
        • Missing role group on banners with First Layer Categories enabled
        • Missing alternative text/title on iframes when Cross Domain Consent was enabled
