What's new for Osano in January 2025

Note: Any Consent Manager Platform (CMP) changes will be inherited by consent manager configurations after they are republished. Please be sure to test all changes.

Enhancements

  • Cookie Consent

    • Cookie Consent Reporting is now available. The Reporting page provides a comprehensive overview of your visitor's consent choices in aggregate, highlighting key metrics and trends amongst your user base. Learn More.

• January 23 2:15 PM CST

  • Cookie Consent

    • Added support for an additional third link on the cookie banner and drawer.

    • When adding a Subject Rights Request link to a Cookie Consent configuration, you may now select an existing Osano form to enable subject rights intake in the Preference Drawer without deploying any code. These added links will NOT display on the config banner.

• January 9 1:00 PM CST

  • Assessments

    • Assessment Reporting is available as an open beta. You can now view key metrics related to your use of Osano Assessments.

Deprecation Notices

• January 30 6:15 PM CST

  • Osano has completed the deprecation of Banner Templates 4 and 5. These templates have not been mapped to any regions in the Osano CMP for more than 12 months and are no longer recommended for compliance with any region's legislation.

  • This deprecation only affects customers who are utilizing custom banner overrides to specifically assign Banner Templates 4 and 5 on their websites. Customers using the Osano default banner settings will have no impact.
