What's new for Osano in July 2025

Note: Any Consent Manager Platform (CMP) changes will be inherited by consent manager configurations after they are republished. Please be sure to test all changes.

Enhancements

• July 16, 2025 at 1:00 PM CDT

  • Subject Rights

    • A new 'Opt Out of Profiling / Automated Decision-Making' request type has been added to as an out-of-the-box option on subject rights forms to more easily support subject rights associated with this request type.

    • Importing subject rights requests in bulk via CSV has been improved in the following ways:

    • Added default support for additional columns – Created Date, Completed Date, Phone Number.

    • Many columns support alternative names to make importing easier.

    • Error-handling and notification has been improved.

  • Platform

    • Admins can update the notification settings of all users.

    • TrustHub provides a simple and effective way to manage your privacy policies and ensure those policies align with the privacy practices across your company. Learn more.

  • Subject Rights

    • Authorized agent request submissions now follow a distinct request processing workflow for each request type.

  • Cookie Consent

    • The Cookie Consent Reporting Dashboard jurisdictions have been updated to include US state and Canadian province level consent data. This data can be filtered per each regional jurisidiction to show more specific opt-in and opt-out traffic and highlight key locations where privacy laws may be affecting your consent rates.

  • Cookie Consent

    • Default button text on Banner Template 2 has been updated to the following:

    • Reject All has been updated to 'Reject All Non-Essential'.

    • These changes will not overwrite any custom values assigned by the customer.
